Champs Mentoring Champs (CMC) "Start with Art" Summer Camp offers two different types of camp in one location; a traditional day camp program for children between the ages of 4-10 and the Teen Cruisers, which is designed for young adventurers age 11-14. Our programs daily activities and trips are centered on Performing Arts & Visual Arts, Photography, Outdoor Education, Swimming, Sports, and Team-building. With our exciting and varied programming, our campers will never be bored.

CMC “Start with Art” Summer Arts Program is a more relaxed "family-style" performing arts program with weekly sessions in movement, theater, music, storytelling, and more. Campers also participate in fun and original counselor-led activities such as arts and crafts, singing and non-competitive sports. Each week-long session ends with a performance by campers on stage.

“Start with Art” is well-known for its performing arts programs offered year round, but new members can get a taste of the action in its seven weeks summer art camp. Campers are given a theme each session and then their imaginations are allowed to run wild as they work with the organization's professional teaching artists to write, rehearse, and perform a musical each week.  The little stars that love Broadway shows will step into the spotlight with a performance on stage at the end of the summer camp. Campers are given the opportunity to be active, think creatively and discover new friendships that will last a lifetime. Campers also participate in fun and original counselor-led activities such as arts and crafts, singing and non-competitive sports.
